THE NEWBORN SESSION
Infancy is the most precious and wondrous stage of your child's life and a delightful time for photography.
When newborns are about 5 to 10 days old, sweet and wonderfully posed images are best. With slightly older babes (from 2 weeks to approximately 3 months), images are more natural and simple, and the photo-shoot flows around the baby's schedule.
Sessions take place in the comfort of your home, and I bring lots of adorable and appropriate props like blankets, bonnets, hats, baskets, and wraps. Newborn sessions may last up to 3 hours and can include family shots if desired.
I find incredible joy in capturing these first moments of the babies' life and I will make everything I can to make you, and your family comfortable during the session and ensure quality images that you will treasure forever!
THE PORTRAIT SESSION
The Kids, Family and Maternity Sessions usually run for one hour on location of your choice in the beautiful Boston area or at your home.
These sessions are joyful and fun. It may take a few minutes for your child to warm up to the idea of being photographed but don’t worry–a little patience and a funny face game is usually all that’s needed. Once the session starts moving along, I encourage parents to be relaxed and follow their kids’ lead. In fact, there are not many things that kids love more than their parents cuddling and playing with them and this makes for fantastic photos!
You are welcome to bring any items that are meaningful to your child (like a stuffed animal or a blanket) and maybe a snack he/she enjoys.
I also offer sessions tailored to your specific needs. I will be happy to discuss what you are looking for and offer you a custom package.
Short and sweet Mini Sessions are offered few times a year.
They are 30 minutes long and include 9 digital images.
